Consulting
The purpose of consultation is to focus on a clinician’s work related issues and is not to be confused with individual therapeutic counseling. Consultation is a collaborative relationship between a professional with generalized knowledge and one with specialized knowledge.
Therapists can benefit from consulting with another therapist at any stage of their career, allowing them to obtain expert insight and ongoing support. Consultation can be beneficial to practitioners in private practice who may need extra support and wisdom from a fellow professional to hone skills, improve quality of care, navigate ethical dilemmas, identify biases, manage counter transference, measure progress, and confer complex cases regarding course of treatment, as well as, personal growth, and self-care
Clinical consultation can facilitate the necessary guidance and support to help therapists manage challenges, develop awareness, confirm understanding, and implement change successfully at any point in their career.

Emotional Support & Animal Letters
Resilient Minds Inc., offers emotional support evaluations, letters, and long-term care for individuals with a qualifying diagnosis that supports their need for an emotional support animal.

Supervision
Supervisees meet once a week for one hour. You can expect to discuss cases, ethics, personal growth, and selfcare. You will be expected to bring two cases that you are currently working with for case presentation, to discuss client issues, treatment planning, and your approach to therapy.
Clinical supervisors will help you refine your clinical skills and explore different interventions, ensuring you're using evidence-based and effective techniques. You'll discuss your theoretical framework and how it informs your work, potentially exploring different models or approaches. Supervision will provide a space to discuss ethical dilemmas, confidentiality, and legal considerations relevant to your practice. You'll explore your own feelings and reactions to clients, and how these might impact the therapeutic relationship. Supervision is a crucial opportunity for professional growth, allowing you to learn from my experience and expertise. Supervisors can provide feedback on your documentation practices, ensuring they are thorough and accurate. The demanding nature of counseling work can lead to burnout, so supervisors will likely encourage you to prioritize your well-being. Supervision will also include direct observation, feedback and evaluation, case conceptualization, and problem-solving skills. You will be expected to keep a record of your supervision hours as well as the content of each session.
Both supervisors and supervisees are required to maintain a contemporaneous record of the date, duration, type (individual, paired, or group), and a brief summary of the pertinent activity for each supervision session to be submitted to the Board upon request. If there are any discrepancies in hours, contemporaneous documentation of supervision will be requested.
